jays biggol tally hall infodump: the webpage

theres some songs that have never appeared on spotify like light & night or demos such as all of my friends, stationary love, another minute etc. i would honestly reccomend checking out their bandcamp for most of the demos.

theres also alternate versions of songs/covers they have released. like the demo for greener which has a new fourth verse, or the pingry e.p. version of their cover of just a friend (which in my opinion is better than the spotify/studio release). they also did a live version of anonymous' break it down which has new lyrics.

the songs_about_girls_EP is from rob's old band listedBlack. (hehe chumhandle) it includes songs such as:

passing

effort & apathy

almost raining

yearbook

guess what these songs have in common? that's right its the letter A. (and theyre songs about girls (EP)) dont have a good transition for this so uhhhh effort and apathy just apathy

FUN FACTS

tally hall was named after a minimall in michigan (the hometown for most of the members) that had a penny arcade with a bunch of marvelous mechanical machines. the minimall then got demolished, and the machines got moved to marvin's marvelous mechanical museum. which is the namesake for tally hall's debut album.

andrew wanted to name the band "party boobytrap", which is a palendrome! just like this sentance!ecnatnes siht ekil tsuj !emordnelap a si hcihw ,"partyboob ytrap" dnab eht eman ot detnaw werdna

ross originally wanted the green tie, but andrew picked it first.

they picked the ties at random, and said it feels weird to wear the wrong ties.

joe, zubin, rob, and ross, along with other people such as bora (basically the bands mascot) made a side project called miracle musical (or ミラクルミュージカル) and made an album called hawaii pt. II, and a single called variations on a cloud.
